A sample CV for project managers

Candidates need to be aware of the pitfalls of dealing with agencies and applying for roles in general.  The following tip has been provided by the HR Manager from Solnet in Wellington.

“One of the most important things you can do as a candidate is to keep track of the agencies you talk to about which job. I would suggest that a spreadsheet or just a notebook detailing the agency, contact person, the role advertised, the company the role is with and what date you had your CV forwarded to the client, are all basic requirements to keep track of.

As a Client, it is very frustrating when the same candidate is referred by 2 different agencies because the candidate hasn't kept track of their applications.

This not only proves embarrassing and a waste of time to the client but can show some rather dubious organisation skills from the candidate.

You have every right to know where your CV is going to be represented so if the agency doesn't give that to you - make sure you request it.”
